I am sure this comes as no surprise, but earlier today K-mart pulled the original $10.00/$20.00 coupon!
While I am hearing TONS of different reports on the coupon working or not working for people, it appears that this coupon was only intended to be used in the New York and Chicago areas.
Too often, most Kmart deals turn into a circus because it’s hard to find someone at their Corporate Office who knows what they are doing. This coupon was clearly a mistake made by Kmart, or one of their employees. The original $10.00/$20.00 coupon said “Valid at all Kmart locations” instead of what it was meant to say “Valid in New York and Chicago ONLY”. Kmart has now re-posted the coupon and it now says “Valid in New York and Chicago ONLY”.

Sorry to those of you who got accused of using a fraudulent coupon by Kmart employees and managers. The original coupon was NOT a fraudulent coupon. Now that they have corrected the coupon to say Only Valid in Chicago and New York, using it in another region would be considered“fraudulent”- but it was completely legitimate before the correction was made. If you were smart and printed several of these coupons BEFORE the correct was made, you SHOULD still be able to use it until the expiration date.
